Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) has blown up another oil facility in Delta State, few hours after a committee was set up by the Federal Government to dialogue with the rampaging group.
In its Twitter handle early Wednesday, the group said it had successfully blown up RMP 20 Well belonging to Chevron Nigeria Ltd (CNL).
The Well, according to the tweet is just 20 meters away from Dibi Flow Station in Warri North Local Government Area of the state.
“At 1:00am today, the @NDAvengers blow up Well RMP 20 belonging to Chevron located 20 meters away from Dibi flow Stattion in Warri North LGA,” the tweet read.
The group has, however, debunk claims that it has sheathe its swords to negotiate with the Federal Government.
“This is to the Gen. public; we’re not negotiating with any Committee. If Fed Govt is discussing with any group, they’re doing that on their own,” the group warned.
It will be recalled that to give a conducive from for the negotiation to take off, the Federal Government, a few days ago, relaxed the military siege on communities in the region.
The last economic sabotage embarked upon by the group was last week Friday’s destruction of Shell’s 48-inch Forcados underbelly export terminal pipeline located at Ogulagha and Odimodi communities in Burutu Local Government Area of the state.
Meanwhile, a senior officer of the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS DELTA), Warri Naval Base, confirmed the incident, adding that the force had deployed its men to the area.
