Gareth Bale is flying high with the most goals at Euro 2016 but he probably won’t be too upset when the tournament is over — even if Wales are knocked out eventually.

That’s because Real Madrid are set to offer the star forward a ‘contract for life’ according to The Mail.

The news is sure to quash interest from Premier League powerhouse clubs with the length of the contract reportedly being as long as seven years.

The deal would make Bale one of the world’s highest-paid players, which could see him emerge as the face of Los Blancos — perhaps even usurping Cristiano Ronaldo and this will not go down well for the Portuguese.
